eligibility

  • should be a registered firm
  • firm director should be registered as a individual secretary
  • at least two members should exist
  • at least one member should be qualified as a lawyer or chartered accountant.

submission procedure

obtain application form
the applicant should obtain the application form from the information counter of the department.

department - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm : monday - friday
counter open hours - 9.00 am to 3.30 pm : monday - friday
closed on public and mercantile holidays

documents required

  • qualified director’s secretary certificate copy
  • incorporation certificate
  • certificate copy of “form 48
  • copy of primary objects (memorandum & articles of association)

note: all documents should be certified by a jp (justices of peace)

the applicants should submit filled application along with the support documents to the information counter ( department of the registrar of companies ).

procedure

step 1: the applicant should obtain the application form 79 s form the information counter.
step 2: the applicant should submit filled application form along with the support documents to the information counter.

note: the documents have to be certified by a jp (justice of peace)

step 3: the applicant is requested to make a payment of rs. 480.00 as registration fee to the shroff counter, and collect a receipt for the payment
step 4: the subject clerk in the information counter sends the documents to the subject clerk ( company a branch )
step 5: the subject clerk ( company a branch ) checks the documents and submits it to the registrar for approval

note: if there are any mistakes or errors with relation to the submitted documents, the subject clerk informs applicants and requests him or her to rectify mistakes and resubmit immediately.

step 6: the registrar approves the documents and sends it back to subject clerk ( company a branch )

note: if there any mistakes or errors, the register informs the subject clerk who in turn will inform the applicants about rectification of mistakes.

step 7: upon receiving the approval, the subject clerk has to prepare the certificate and get it signed by the registrar.
step 8: the applicant shows the receipt to the subject clerk in the information counter and collects the certificate
